In the summer of 1997, carlitoNOVA arrived in Atlanta and began his educational career majoring in Music. In 1998, he began hosting school parties and proms at various metro Atlanta area high schools and colleges, catering to an eager and energetic crowd.
After finishing high school in 2001, DJ carlitoNOVA begins working with the resident DJ of The Living Room and the Tongue & Groove Night Clubs in Buckhead. In the summer of 2002, DJ carlitoNOVA launched his first mix tape that took the A-T-L by storm and created a daily growing fan base. Right after that period, carlitoNOVA begins working at different spots around the city like: Club Europe, Dos Copas, Star Zone, Santa Fe (The Original), etc, etc.
Aside from deejaying in Atl’s Party District, DJ carlitoNOVA entered into a partnership in 2003 that brought the Boomerang Productions concept to life – an organization that would quickly meet its goal of bringing the absolute best in Latin & International entertainment to Atlanta.
Under the Boomerang Productions Project, DJ carlitoNOVA began Latin Fever Fridays at La Rumba Night Club in 2004, until the summer of 2008, and he created eSCAPE Saturdays at Santo Domingo shortly afterward. One year later, due to the high demand and rapid growth in attendees, Boomerang shifted its Saturday nights to Café La Vaca Night Club under the name of “crush SATURDAYS”; these events brought in record-breaking numbers of attendees until the summer of 2007 when Café La Vaca Night Club closed its doors.
carlitoNOVA also is recognized as the first VJ in Atlanta to bring live video feed to his mixes.
Afterntly carlitoNOVA is working only as a DJ/VJ/PRODUCER after having sold
Boomerang Productions.
Possessing over eleven (11)years of entertainment industry experience and regional influence in the Atlanta area. Recognition of his name alone can draw audiences, giving the hosting establishments an edge in popularity and credibility anywhere this individual happens to appear.
